2018 COACHMEN APEX ULTRA LITE 215RBK – LIGHTWEIGHT REAR BATH TRAVEL TRAILER!
Looking for a comfortable travel trailer that is easy to tow without giving up the features you want at the campsite? This 2018 Coachmen Apex Ultra Lite 215RBK is a great lightweight floorplan with a front bedroom, rear bathroom, one large slide and plenty of practical features throughout.
At just 25'4" long and with a UVW of approximately 4,365 lbs, the Apex is designed with half-ton trucks, SUVs and other appropriately equipped tow vehicles in mind.
Spacious Living Area
The large slide-out opens up the main living area and gives the Apex a surprisingly spacious feel for a trailer of this size.
The living area features a residential-style sofa, LED interior lighting, Congoleum flooring, tinted safety-glass windows, mini blinds and night shades.
The 13' power awning with LED lighting extends your living space outside and provides a great shaded area for relaxing at the campsite.
Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen is designed to give you plenty of functionality without taking up unnecessary space.
It features seamless countertops, a Stonecast sink with flush-mount sink covers, high-rise faucet with sprayer, stainless-steel appliances, two-door refrigerator, three-burner cooktop, oven, microwave and power range hood.
The booth dinette provides a comfortable place to enjoy meals and can also provide additional sleeping space when needed.
Front Bedroom
The private front bedroom provides a comfortable sleeping area away from the main living space.
The bedroom includes a headboard with shelf storage, LED lighting, USB ports, an Evergreen Sleep mattress and plush comforter.
There is also convenient storage throughout the bedroom for clothing and camping gear.
Rear Bathroom
One of the highlights of the 215RBK floorplan is the large rear bathroom.
The bathroom features a spacious layout with a tub surround, skylight, medicine cabinet, foot-flush toilet and power roof vent.
Having the bathroom located across the entire rear of the trailer gives you considerably more room than many smaller travel trailers.
Entertainment & Technology
The Apex includes an entertainment system with AM/FM/CD/DVD/Bluetooth capability, 32" LED TV, TV antenna and cable TV hookups.
A USB charging station provides convenient charging for your mobile devices.
Outdoor speakers with LED lighting let you take your music outside while enjoying the campsite.
Outdoor Living
The exterior is set up nicely for enjoying the campsite.
The 13' power awning features LED lighting, while the patio light and LED entry step light provide additional exterior lighting after dark.
The Apex also features an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, LP quick-connect port and outside GFCI receptacle.
A lighted pass-through storage compartment provides convenient space for camping equipment, chairs, hoses and other gear.
Heating, Cooling & Utilities
The Apex is equipped with a 13,500 BTU roof air conditioner and 6-gallon DSI water heater.
A 55-amp power center, demand water pump, black tank flush and water-heater bypass provide convenient operation and maintenance.
Solar preparation and a dual-battery tray give you additional flexibility for future upgrades or off-grid camping.
Two 20 lb propane bottles are mounted on the front of the trailer.
Construction & Chassis
Coachmen built the Apex Ultra Lite with welded aluminum framing and Azdel laminated construction.
The exterior features smooth fiberglass siding, a painted front cap with LED lighting, ABS fender skirts and a front stone guard.
The trailer rides on a powder-coated I-beam frame with EZ Lube axles, aluminum wheels and nitrogen-filled radial tires.
A spare tire and carrier are included, along with a power tongue jack and four stabilizer jacks.
The walk-on reinforced roof deck, seamless EPDM rubber roof and slam-latch storage doors add to the practical construction of this lightweight trailer.
